Larvicides

Why Larvicides Like Bti and Bs Are the Smarter Choice

More Effective. More Targeted. Better for the Environment.
When it comes to mosquito control, not all methods are equal. While fogging (adulticiding) is what most people are familiar with, it’s actually the least efficient and most chemically intensive part of mosquito control.

Fogging: A Temporary, Reactive Tool

  • Kills adult mosquitoes on contact but has no lasting effect.
  • Only targets the mosquitoes present at the moment of fogging.
  • Must be repeated frequently.
  • Can affect other flying insects (non-target species).
  • Requires more chemical volume over time.

Fogging has its place, especially when mosquito numbers spike and immediate relief is needed. But it’s like mowing the grass—it keeps coming back if you don’t deal with the root problem.
